Shari Simpson is a screenwriter, author, teacher, and public speaker. She also excels at talking about herself in the third person, so here goes:
Shari currently has a feature script, FOREVER LOST, penned with her longtime writing partner, Charlie Shahnaian, in development for Broken Road Productions. She also has a one-hour drama, HOPETOWN, in development for the Hallmark Channel with Vast Entertainment and Al Roker Entertainment, and is developing an animated TV series for Wind Dancer Films and Highlights Magazine. Shari’s first feature film for The Disney Channel was THE SWAP, which premiered in fall 2016 to 3.1 million total viewers, making it the top kids cable telecast for the third quarter of that year.
Shari’s middle-grade fantasy novel, SAM SAVES THE NIGHT was published by Disney Hyperion Books and she is currently working on a chapter book series, SUGAR RUSH RACERS, for publication in 2022. She lives in Hoboken, New Jersey, with a handsome husband, two marvelous teenagers, a cat, and… the pug. Who gets her own bio.
Mila Kunis is a pug. She is adorable and cuddly and sweet, and will eat the food right out of your mouth if you’re not paying attention. She hates the cat and is convinced that he is the spawn of Satan. She’s kinda right.
